Fireworks

It's 6 o'clock and the sun shows no sign of surrender.
His mind slipped when he forgot about the annual bombardment of his home front, the skies. As the sun backs down, and the moon takes his night watch post, an anticipating crowd awaits it. It's 10 o'clock, and a boom loud enough to make your heart skip a beat ricochets through the valleys below, and as the crowd looks up, an unfaltering bombardment of the sky commences, and the moon waits patiently, knowing what will come soon.
But wait. A cease fire? That's what the people below think. But no, for the moon knows better than that, for he has expirienced the humiliation many times. the finale starts.
