Death

My best friends great grandma died Saturday morning. I've been his best friend since kindergarten so of course I knew her pretty well. I even called her "grandma" too. She was amazing. I'm lucky to have known her.

I could have sworn she was invincible.

But I'm fine. It just makes me think. Really hard.

Dreams

2 generations later, how will our generation act? I doubt we'll listen to the music of our days, playing eminem to our grandchildren. But we won't be able to hear it anyway. Then we'll probably use computers quite a bit because it's what we were raised on. That's only if we don't all have arthritis and carpal tunnel from all the typing and texting we did as teenagers. All we'll have is instinctual abilities of playing with the grandkids. Will this happen?

We will get so advanced, that we must go back to our primitive state.

could it be?

Cone or Cup?

Working at dressel's ice cream stand has made me appreciate nice people much more. I never knew how much just being slightly considerate and not an asshole could help someone's good mood along. Just being reasonable makes everyone's life so much easier.

Weird people are normal.
But i'm biased ain't I?

Cookie Jar

So. Not sure why i started it, but now i have a jar of thoughts. With dates.
So... I have one of those abnormally large jugs of poland spring, empty of course, and throughout the day i write down thoughts on small slips of paper with the day's date on it. When i get home i put them all inside this jar. By the end of Senior year or when it gets full i will read them all. This should be interesting...
It gives me something to look forward to i suppose. Not that there's no other things to look forward to though. Just for S's and G's.

As time goes on...

The older you get past 30, i believe this is what will happen:
Function will begin to take precedent over form, unlike college kids and high schoolers who have haircuts that hinder their sight because it "looks cool," a person will use his calculator from freshman year of high school the size of a box because it "still works."
